N91°

N91° is the story of a desert island outcast waking up on a sandy beach, without any recollection of the past. Gradually he starts remembering what brought him there, by the little things he finds on his torn clothes: a plane ticket, a handwritten note saying “love me like there’s no tomorrow”, a part of cloth from a kite. A motionless woman is lying close to him on the sandy beach. Logic and time unwind, as the memory of the accident returns. In reality or in a dream, the woman awakes and the two of them sail in wild waters beyond the 90 latitude parallels of the map. 



This story is composed through the accumulation of songs written between 2007 and 2016. The songs were recorded and mixed 2016 - 2018 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The album was mastered at Sweetspot Studios in Athens, GR in early 2018 by Yiannis Christodoulatos and Dimitris Papadimitriou.



Singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT merges traditional folk songwriting with experimental and electronic instrumentation. During live concerts, LOGOUT usually performs with the aid of live-looping, samples, natural instruments and even live video art. His first two albums (Paper Plane Flight Recording, and Little Things Buried in Concrete) were recorded in Athens, Greece and released through the indie label Inner Ear Records in 2011 and 2013. Third album N91° explores a more synth-based instrumentation, translating folk and indie songwriting into minimalistic synth pop and ambient soundscapes. N91° was released by Dutch label Tiny Room Records on May 10, 2019.


N91° is the first release of LOGOUT on Tiny Room Records, a Dutch DIY label that also released music by Astral Swans, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, The World of Dust and Queen of the Meadow. Tiny Room Records stands for small-scale, sympathetic releases of artists that make music out of love, passion and/or necessity, whether it’s indie rock, lo-fi, psychedelica, ambient or folk.
